My Why…

Hey There! My name is Jacinta and I am SO incredibly grateful to have you land here on my page.

I am a Yoga Teacher, a Yoga student, and a Mum to two pre-teen girls. (That alone needs Yoga and Self-Care!)

I started Yoga at a time in my life when I was feeling extremely low. I was anxious, I suffered small bouts of depression, I had extremely low self esteem and I was stressed from the pressures of life. There have been times in my life where I felt the suffering was so deep I would not be able to claw myself out.

As a highly sensitive person I had experiences that created Trauma within that impacted my thoughts and feelings, and how I related to other people. And unbeknownst to me this lived in my body.

I was completed disconnected from the person that I really wanted to be, and I had absolutely no tools to help me deal with just the everyday.

Yoga has been a truly transformative journey for me, I came to Yoga for fitness and to build strength and mobility, but what I actually found was a healing modality.

Yoga created a safe and nurturing space for my own self inquiry, and allowed me to build a self empowerment that has fed into all areas of my life. And so it is my mission to share this with as many people I can.

At the heart of what I do is KINDNESS. Kindness to ourselves, our minds, our bodies, our hearts. And Kindness to others. Being KIND is what will connect us, our bodies, minds and spirirts. Being KIND connects us to Community, where healing is supercharged.

And so this brings us to the KIND connective. Because KIND is the connective word to help you realise your WHOLENESS.
